Here you will find my "typical" pictures, thoughts and ideas and sneak peaks from sessions. I LOVE taking pictures, particularly children. Capturing that perfect moment in time, to last a lifetime is my goal. So, sit back and relax, while reading through my blog, getting to know me and my family, and getting a glimpse of what a session might contain! P.S. I am sure this will also contain an occasional rambling of goings on in my life...enjoy!
Ummm, yes, it has been over a month since I have last posted! I have TONS and TONS to post to the blog here. I may just get caught up today...maybe! We have had a busy month in the Armstrong household. School ended, and with that came all those fun end of the school year events, and happenings. We have been to birthday parties, vacationed (and there are still more vacations to come!!!!), ran several races, and have put our house on the market...it is officially for sale! :) We weren't looking to move, but Tom is always looking at houses. He found one that looked to be a perfect fit for our family. After a couple of weeks pondering over the house, we decided to look through it. It proved to be a great fit for our family!!! So, we have an accepted offer, contingent on our house selling of course, and we are very excited at the possibility of this "new" house being our new home. We decided if it is meant to be, then our house will sell. If not, then we will stay here, and be content and happy...because we really are content and happy here in this house. Tom has said several times, that no matter where our family is, as long as we are together it will be a happy home. He is right. Togetherness is what makes a house a home. :)
So, that is our life in a tiny nutshell from the past month! I will delay no further and post a few shots of a super cutie little 3 month old!!!!

Three months old, and oh so beautiful! I love, love, love sessions that take place in client homes. Some of these shots are of Miss S in her cute bedroom and her parents room. Home sessions put the mom's and dad's at ease, allow for a quick feed if needed, and just work out great for little ones! The pictures in her room are unique to them because it is HER room...can't say enough about home sessions! I will say, it was a very, very, very dreary day that day, but the lighting still worked out in their home...which made me happy!

So far, my favorite picture from this session. You all know I love feet, so that is one reason I am in LOVE with this shot. But I also love that you can see her cute little face looking up at her bear and smiling and talking to him...so sweet!
Wanted to get these up real quick, because I know that Momma A has been waiting. This session was awesome. Not only did I get to reconnect with an old classmate, but we got to reconnect on a whole new level! God has such perfect timing, and it smacked me in the face last Sunday. I normally don't do Sunday sessions, it was a last minute session, and I am so glad that it all played out the way it did. A, I can't thank you enough for such a great time that afternoon. It was an ABSOLUTE pleasure meeting the rest of your family, capturing little Miss A, and catching up with you. I look forward to meeting up with you and your kids soon! :) Hope you enjoy these few peaks!

It was another busy weekend here at our house. Never a dull moment, that is for sure! Wanted to post a couple shots of two cutie pies that I had the opportunity to capture early Saturday morning...just after the rain (thankfully!) and in the cool of the morning. Was it just me, or did it seem like Fall was visiting this weekend?!?!?! Anyways, Miss R and Mr. B were fabulously cute little ones, and I so enjoyed the time I got to spend with this cute family! Alright, enough talk...here they are...

Can't wait to share more from this weekend...I had a unexpectedly blessed day today...got to love God and His great timing!
Off to bed...before midnight...whoooo-hoooooo! Now only to hope that my little Cakies doesn't wander into my room 4 times throughout the night because she misses me. My weary eyes barely are able to walk her back to her room, and by the 4th time (or when it is getting close to 6:00) I grab her and snuggle her in bed with us for the last hour or so of sleep. Any suggestions on keeping her in her room all night long, so I don't have to continually drag myself out of bed, walk (grogily stumble) her to her room, and then be sure to give her a thumbs up from my doorway so she knows all is well???? And really, I am super lucky if I get out of having to sing "Silent Night" (yes, that is her bedtime song every night since last December...she insists!) in a whispery voice in the middle of the night at who knows what time! Ahhhhh...I know...I will miss this...but my continous lack of continuous sleep is going to make me crazy sometime soon! :)
Seriously, done complaining, and seriously...I am going to bed! Have a great week...and stay tuned for more sneak peeks!
Oh my goodness...I was continuously gushing over this little girls eyes. I couldn't believe, well, I could, since they are just like her momma's, but seriously, so beautiful, so cute! Miss K was beyond fabulous to work with! She was totally cooperative, smiley, and even put up with the heat and humidity! J and J, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture your sweet family and beautiful daughter!

I had the opportunity to have a session with a beautiful 3 month old, Baby T, and her adorable family...all of them gorgeous! Here are a few of Baby T, and I will have more of her cute sibs posted sometime soon...just had to get these up here!
We got her smiling too, but the sleepy shots are usually my favorites!
We had a fun weekend, filled with family visits, visits with friends, and just hanging out "swimming" and playing in the sprinklers! I am excited for a fun filled week, and the weather looks as though it will cooperate!!!!! Bring on the real summer weather!
So Miss A. really isn't 2 quite yet...another couple of weeks and she will be celebrating that fun birthday! Mr. E. is my friend's little boy that was born only 3 days after my Little Man. Little Man is quite a bit chubbier, but Mr. E. has him beat hands down in the hair department! Sorry it has taken so long for your sneak peek to be up...hope you enjoy! :)
