Few More Peaks...

I delivered this session CD last night, but I wanted to post a few more images. The two girls are adorable, and I fell in love with so many different pictures! :) Hope the Momma is enjoying her view of the CD images!!! :)

Finally...

Here are the sneak peeks for Miss O. She has gorgeous blue eyes, and a sweet personality to match. I had tons of fun, and am excited to get digging into the rest of the session! Hope you enjoy!

The first two totally jumped out at me as absolute beauties...

She had the hardest time giving me a "serious" look...I love this one though! :)

Got to get back to my girls. Hope you have a great weekend! :)

Senior Session

I had an absolutely beautiful senior session with Miss O last night. Again, the weather turned in our favor after a very ugly looking day. Thanks for a fun night O, A and S! You made my job very easy!!!!

Unfortunately, I am not going to get any sneak peeks up before we leave tomorrow. We will be back this weekend, and it is the first weekend in a long time that I will not have a session. Purposely blocked Saturday, due to my husband's golf outing. So, I am hoping to get some work done this weekend, and get a few more posts up of the sessions that I have had. They have all been so fun and the kids (big and little) have been so cute/beautiful!

Have a great night!

Another 9 month old...

One of my favorite ages!!!!! I had a great time last Saturday getting to know Mr. B. He is super sweet, SUPER expressive, and has this lip action thing that looks like he might whistle and it totally melted my heart. Thanks "S" family for the opportunity to photograph your little guy!

The first two here are favorites so far...he was so happy in his Momma's arms...

...and his eyes are so pretty.

The lighting in the house was great. He was starting to warm up to me at this point...I think he really just finally noticed the camera.

I had to add this to my favorites. He wasn't a fan of the grass, so he did the bear crawl through it. This face and the way he was positioned reminds me of a line backer ready to tackle someone or something...too cute.

Thanks again for the great day!
Also, for those of you who follow, in a previous post, I wrote about a "Big Surprise" for Bean. She TOTALLY remembered this morning and it was the first thing she asked me!!! Thankfully, I used the library surprise, and she was EXTREMELY thrilled!!!! WHOOO-HOOOO!!!! She did ask if we could do Chuck-E-Cheese. I told her she had to have several nights without me coming into her room, she seemed to agree with it, because in her words "Chuck-E-Cheese is a big big surprise." I agree. And I am thankful to not have to go there today! :)

Have a great day! I am super excited for another Senior Session tonight! :)

Miss KJ

Trying this again this morning. Here are a few of Miss KJ, my niece at 9 months old. She is such a cutie, and has such a sweet demeanor and LOVES her momma. L can't leave the room without K having a fit...too cute! Here they are!

I love this one...

Bugged...

I am all ready to post sneak peeks of KJ and Mr. B's sessions from last week...and blogger is not cooperating. SO, they will have to wait until tomorrow, actually, later today. Unfortunately, I am not sure when I will be able to post them tomorrow. Hopefully I can sneak a few minutes in to get them up. Nighttime is my best time to work, and well, my night is coming to a close!

I promised Bean tonight that if she didn't call me back into her room and went to sleep like a big girl, I had a big surprise for her. Of course, that was total rubbish on my part. No surprise...but to my surprise, she did it!!! I am celebrating, but also scheming on what to do now. She has begged (for over a year) to go to Chuck-E-Cheese (NOT my favorite place to go...AT ALL!!!) so maybe I will cave in and go tomorrow...maybe. I am thinking a trip to the library and rental of a library movie will be better, BUT, I can see her telling me that that wasn't a "Big Surprise!" Have to think on it...but I am sure it will be the first thing out of her froggy voice in the morning..."Momma, what's my big surprise?"

On another Bean note, she is sleeping in undies now through the night. We had to up her in pullup size (she is very tall for a four year old) because the other ones were ripping when she put them on. We made that package last (with tape on the pullup to keep it together!) and then went up to the next size. Well, my husband saw the package and said, "Only 11 per pack?"
"Yep." "How much did those cost?" "$10.99...on sale." And then his jaw dropped. His thoughts, "We are paying for her to pee our money away...a $1 a night minimum?" (leaks sometimes caused middle of the night pullup changes) "We are done with that."

It was a hard transition, no more drinks before bed or sippy cups to help sooth her to sleep...nothing. I still take her to the bathroom before I go to sleep, and so far all has worked out well. She had one minor accident, but it has been 12 days so far.

Maybe Chuck-E-Cheese isn't too bad of an idea? Off to take the little one tinkle! :)

Bean's Bits

I wanted to get the conversation that we had the other night before bed written down, before I got tired of seeing the piece of paper laying on my counter and threw it out on accident! So, here is a little bit of my Beans. Hope you enjoy...and be checking back for some sneak peaks from this weekend (and from last week! YIKES!)

Bean: I want to live here until I'm a Mommy.
Me: Okay. What if your husband doesn't want to live here though?
Bean: I think he will, when he gets to know ya more.

(Husband and I holding back laughter.)

And she continues...
Bean: My husband and daddy can throw darts in the basement together, and I can be with you.
Husband: (Under his breath) I think I will be throwing the darts at him. (He isn't ready to even THINK about Bean getting married/boyfriends.)

Bean: Do you be boyfriend girlfriend first? Like you and Daddy were?
Me: Yep.
Bean: There's so many boys to pick...how do I know which one?

Oh, my girl. She is the sweetest little thing. Some days she can't wait to be married (of course still living in my house?!?!?!?) and then there are times, like last night when she was trying to go to sleep, that she works herself up to an all out cry, "I want to be four forever!" Last night she also added in, "Can't I have a different birthday so I can be four longer?" I only wish my sweet Bean...I only wish I could keep you little forever. But, I felt that when she was first born, that I wanted to freeze time to keep her tiny, and as she grows and goes through each stage, life gets even better and even more fun, and filled with even more laughs! I love you Beans...

Nap time for the girls...work time for me!

Sisters...

These two sisters are adorable! I love the relationship between sisters...perhaps because I have great ones with my two sisters and maybe it is even more special to me because I see my two girls share in a great relationship with each other. They truly are each other's best friends, even at 4 and 2. So here are just a few quick ones. Love the dresses...made courtesy of their Grandma! :)

Aren't their little hats so cute?!?!?!?

Pure sweetness.

I would have loved to have this dress when I was little. It twirled and twirled as she spun. It is so darn cute and the hat with the cute flower just completes it!!!!
Have a great weekend! :)

Please Stay Tuned...

Several sessions this past week. Baby KJ (my cute little niece) with her 9 month pictures, Miss I and Miss J last night - the light ended up being fantastic, and another session coming this Saturday with Mr. B. And, we may be squeezing in my sister and her family tomorrow evening. So, there will be lots to post, but just not sure of the time that I will have to post them! I am not sure if I am just slow when it comes to posting, or if it takes awhile for everyone. If anyone has any pointers, I would certainly welcome them!!! :)

On another note, if you would please keep my husband's family in your prayers I would certainly appreciate it. A dear Uncle of his went to be with the Lord today, after a long battle with cancer. Although we know he is dancing pain-free in heaven in the absolute glory of Christ, it is still difficult for those of us here.

Another item of interest. We had an absolutely hilarious conversation with Beans the other night before bed. The thoughts of a 4 year old are sometimes beyond me! I came down that night and wrote out what I could remember of the conversation, so that too will be blogged someday soon!!!! I don't want to lose it, and I don't want her to lose her littleness. Although, everyday, she is getting older, pronouncing words better and the littleness is disappearing.

Lastly, thank you to all of you faithful readers of my blog. I know it can be somewhat mundane, but I appreciate your visits!!!!

Going to watch a little "Olymcips" as Bean would say, while I do a little editing. Have a great night!

Happy Birthday...

To my "Big" Sister! I am a lucky girl to have a big sister and a little sister; my life would be incomplete without them! N is my best friend, often my sounding board, and one of my biggest supporters in everything. She is a "feeler", meaning she feels everything so deeply, and when I go through things, she is right there by my side crying with me or rejoicing with me. I love her completely and love every minute we get to spend together! So Happy, Happy, Birthday!!!! I love you very much N! :)

"C" Family - Super Duper Cuties...

Saturday's family session was so very fun! Miss O, who was featured in a previous post, TURNED ONE! She is adorable, has fabulous brown eyes, and eyelashes that go on for miles! Her brothers, J and W were full of energy and personality...which I LOVE! Thank you M and R, especially since two of your little ones were under the weather a bit!!! I had a great time spending the morning with your family! Here are a few sneak peeks that jumped out at me...

Can't decide between color or b/w for my favorite...

and I love the hands on her head.I love it when a "client" says they would like to use one of their chairs outside...Love it...and especially love it when it is super cool furniture!!!!
You may guess why this made my favorites so far...yep Mr. W giving his sister a kiss? :)

Too cute...
All looking...at least somewhat in my direction!!!!
Hope to get more up soon! Now I need to go get dinner around for my girlies. Cakes is requesting donuts as I type...being pregnant, I think it sounds great, but I suppose we should do something a little more healthy! Have a great night!

Singing Praises...

After a little bit of a scare earlier in the week, I am THRILLED to post that all is looking well for baby Armstrong. The heartbeat couldn't be detected by Doppler at my appointment on Monday, but was found by u/s that same day. I was at the appointment with my girls, and my heart total sank to my belly when the heartbeat wasn't detected. So many scenarios were racing through my mind. And even though it was found via u/s it still sent a bit of a panic through us wondering why it wasn't detected by Doppler. At the time, I was too nervous to even think to ask that question of why it didn't get picked up. (Proof that it is very beneficial to have another set of ears and more rational brain with you at doctor's appointments.) I was very nervous and I am about at the same point in this pregnancy as I was when we lost Baby T.R. Let's just say, anything can set me on edge. I was referred to a local Maternal-Fetal Medicine office for an ultrasound. Well, it usually takes awhile to get into specialists for u/s, but I got a call the same day and they scheduled me for today. That made me a wreck...I kept thinking that my doctor knew something and put a rush on getting me into their office. Too much of my own thinking happened that day. So I did what I always should do first. Pray. Lots of prayer. I had to totally turn it over to Him...to ease my nerves, and know that He is in constant control. My constant, non-stop praying, truly did help to keep my nerves somewhat at bay for the past three days. I kept busy with the girls, and did a couple of projects to keep me going. Today, well the nerves ranked at all time high. But, all was well, and, my hubby even felt the baby move tonight! :) Baby was extremely active during the u/s...I am blaming it on the Pepsi I had midmorning and the piece of pie I had with lunch! ;) So, all of this rambling...perhaps annoying to you, but I had to share. Had to share the good news. About 18 weeks along, and all is well. You better believe that there is still constant prayer for this little one! I have said it before, "God is SO good." He truly is. I am so undeserving, but He is so good to me...through good times and bad. So, singing praises to our God tonight. Hope you have had a wonderful day!.
P.S. If you haven't noticed, on the sidebar, I have put a current favorite song (stole the idea from several of my blogger buddies!). You can listen as you browse. I will change it up every so often, but today's song...very suiting. :)

"Cheerton"

That is how Cakes pronounces my sister's name...too cute...and very fitting! Here are a couple of the soon to be 17 year old. She is beautiful inside and out. Those of you who know her, know she is a great friend, would do anything to help, never wants to disappoint anyone, very smart, and loves being with her family, which I love! My girls love her, look up to her and want to be her! Bean often wants to wear her hair down like her, and I convinced Cakes to finally wear a ponytail because it would look like "Cheerton's"! What is funny is there is the same distance in years between the two of us as there is between Bean and her. 12 1/2 years (exactly for us...I am celebrating my 1/2 birthday this Saturday! ;) ). She is wise and mature beyond her years, and doesn't get enough credit for what a beautiful lady she really has become. I could go on and on...obviously! So here are just a couple quick ones, I haven't fully edited her session yet...actually I JUST STARTED editing and I couldn't resist posting some of her! K if you read this, you know I love you and couldn't ask for a sweeter little sister!

My favorite so far..only have edited 5 though...I am sure I will have too many favorites to post! :)

As Promised...

Here are a few more of Miss H's Senior Session from last week. We have had tons going on, so editing has been a little slow...but I am very close to finishing. This session was a very fun session for me. Miss H is a good friend of my younger sister, and she was at the session also. We got some cute friend shots, and it was great getting to know her at a little more personal level. Can't believe the girls are going to be Seniors...time goes way to fast! Enjoy!

The Girlies...

The girlies...now with wet behinds! ;)

Happy Birthday to K on Saturday...in case I forget to post it! :) Love you Sista!

"P" Family Session...

Sneak peek for the P family from Saturday. They were a fun, loving and sweet family. I had a great time visiting with them. My husband used to work with the Mom of the family, and we would see the kids occasionally. It has been quite some time, and even though I was pretty sure of their ages, and knew that they would look older, I was totally blown away at how "big" the three kids had gotten. The oldest A is off to Purdue in the fall. I can't believe that she has already graduated. Thanks boys for putting up with the session, even with waking so early on a Saturday morning and having to go play in a soccer tournament later that afternoon...troopers! :) The session took place in their backyard, which brings an extra personal touch to the photos for them...at least I hope it does! Enjoy! :)

W and A...

My favorite so far... J was actually biting A's arm...is that sibling love or what??? At least at this age right?

Don't the boys looked thrilled? This is another favorite too because I think it captures how they all are really feeling!

This melts my heart...

Another one for the list of favorites...isn't he too cute?

Hanging on the diving board...

Sidebar: I was talking to my husband last night about how this session is turning out, and I told him about my favorite picture with the arm biting incident caught on film. He sort of laughed, and I realized, my favorites aren't usually the first pick for families...like I don't see that one being blown up above the mantel, you know? But I LOVE pictures that show personality...I am sure you have heard me say that before!
